Hi the "eggs" are small seeds called "Hirse" in German. This should correspond to millet seeds in English like these: http://masteringtheartofwholesomecooking.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/millet_spray.jpg. I discovered them by chance in a pet store as bird food. I used them also for my other death guards marines as base decoration.
The texture of the rust, is indeed sand. I used the most finely grained I could find (decoration sand).
That's simply spectacular.
ReplyDeleteStunning paint job, verdigris, rust and weathering effects. My hat's off to you!
How did you make the eggs?
ReplyDeleteAnd for the texture rust did you use sand?
Great work!!
